I was looking at YouTube and searching at the videos on how to make the stylus. They say to use the anti static sock or aluminum foil. I know that the iPad screen senses the electric charge in our hand so I know that the aluminum foil will conduct it and the screen will sense it. But the anti static sock or one more material is the anti static foam, how does it getting anti static make it function with the iPad screen. Can a person please aid me realize how this works?
Thanks

The anti-static fabric have tiny conductors embeded in them, so permit the static charge to "flow via" instead of accumulate in 1 spot (i.e. static electricity). Thus, they will act as conductor for the capacitive screen.
