Should i buy an ipad or MacBook air?

Question by : Really should i purchase an ipad or MacBook air?
i would need to sell some stuff on ebay to get the air and must i buy ipad two or 3
I would use the ipad/iphone for playing, video, music, internet browsing, writing and reading my newspaper every morning because i dont get it house.
