I'm going to Santa Fe, NM next week and I wonder if there is any shop in Santa Fe exactly where I could acquire an iPad (I'm traveling from Poland where iPad is not officially available however).

You could get a replica iPad which is called the aPad. It's quite similar to the iPad and operates the same way. I got mine at replicapad.com and ships within a week. I'm extremely happy with my aPad )
