Why does the Apple Store open at 5:00pm for the iPad 2 release?

Question by : Why does the Apple Store open at 5:00pm for the iPad two release?
The big iPad two release is Canada is tomorrow! At the US realease on the 11th, and tomorrow, all Apple Retailers open at five:00pm. Why is this? Will it be open at 10 like usually for standard clients and purchases? Or will the retailer be closed until 5:00pm?
