Got to use 1 from the nearby library lately and I found it to be a fantastic device to view photos, movies etc on. Games on it can certainly be fun. It is not a Kindle killer because it still does not have an eink display, you are still reading an LCD display, which is challenging on your eyes for an extended period of time. Internet browsing works well most of the time assuming the website does not run on plugins like flash. I look forward to multiasking going back and forth between things like Pages, e-mail, Safari etc gets to be a pain for power users.
Typing on it can be awkward to start off as you really require to lean it on your lap or a desk, even then I locate it it to only be suited for short messages and not writing say an extended essay.
Overall I find for the cost their a greater labtops/netbooks out there that can do better for most tasks.
