Ok. I need to have a computer for college, absolutely nothing too advanced, as I currently have a nice iMac for a central station. I want simple things like browsing the web, e-mail, productivity and things like that on a mobile device. The Macbook Pro is not really worth it to me, as I am looking at the 500-1000 dollar range with a student discount.

Don't waste your money on the Ipad it is not worth it. Almost everything Ive read on it says to wait.
