So i want to purchase an Ipad 3g, but i'm acquiring it from Japan and i heard that it is locked to be employed with SoftBank carrier only. So fundamentally if i buy it and bring it to Cambodia, i will not be in a position to use my Ipad with a Cambodian 3g carrier.
any concept on how to unlock the Ipad and make it usable with any carrier from any country?

In the apple keynote, when the iPad was initial introduced, steve jobs stated that all iPads had been unlocked. I do believd that that applied to the whole planet not just the U.S. So it really should work in Cambodia and you will not need to have to unlock it.
