where and how do I order iPad 3g date plan?

Question by A.W: exactly where and how do I order iPad 3g date strategy?
I am getting an ipad wifi +3g from craiglist and wanted to know where I order the 3g date plan.

I think i have to order if from AT&T but can I do it on ipad or do I have to go to AT&T store?
also i know date plan demands no contract but my credit is kinda messed up, does it matter when ordering?
