It usually happens when a new iPod touch, IPhone, ect comes out the final version gets an update to make factors a small even with the older and newer version. For example: will iPad 2 get an upgrade for Siri? And some other versions? I mean certain if we want much more capabilities we would purchase the newer version and we cannot just upgrade to get a better processor but we can upgrade to get straightforward features that can be updated to a prior version.

Possibly? they possibly wont update the hardware(camera high quality, A5 dual core chip) but they most likely will release a ios software program update that may have siri.
