Can I use my AT&T 3G iPad in Canada? Like will it switch over to their towers? Will I not be charged extra? Please clarify how this would work. Thank you!

Depends on what information strategy you have - at&t Rogers is the carrier for canada - I'd just recommend you check with at&t consumer care to be safe :-)
