I go to college fall 2012. I am taking a year off from beginning college to save money and i want to acquire an iPad. Need to I wait for one that might come out among soon and fall 2012? If there is 1? Or need to I acquire one now if there is not a new 1 prior to then?

Apple's supposed to be announcing an iPad 3 along with the iPhone 5 this year (yes, they created a third that rapidly). You could get that, or just get the one that will be released from those cash cows next year.
