Q&A: Can i jailbreak the iPad with latest update?

Question by Bassam: Can i jailbreak the iPad with most recent update?
The newest iPad update version is four..1 as i recall, and im not sure if there is a jailbreak tool for it.
And i actually dont have it however, i will get it for my birthday and i just want to know, if i get my iPad out-of-the-box, will i be able to jailbreak safely?

added question: can failing a jailbreak cause a 'brick' or system corruption or one thing? if so, can i fix my iPad by Restoring in iTunes?

the newest ipad update is three.2.1 and there is a jailbreak tool its referred to as jailbreakme by comex
all you have to do is go to http://www.jailbreakme.com/ on the safari web browser (on the ipad, does not function on the pc) and slide the bar at the bottom to jailbreak

also yes you can brick your ipad normally fixed by a restore but there is usually the slightest possibility, 1 in a million that you can permanently wreck ur ipad

but i dont give a dam, i nonetheless do it???
