The iPad 1 is on sale for 299 at Verizon which was reported be many tech blogs yesterday such as cnet. But on the Verizon internet site it lists absolutely nothing like that.
Does any individual know if this is accurate and exactly where I can get one?

You are appropriate, every single body and his dog says that Verizon is selling Ipd 1 for 299.
The issue is that no appears to have told Verizon this, as they do not list this item.
