There is a fantastic deal on Apple Refurbished Store for a black 32g ipad 2 with 3g. Believe it or not it is in fact less expensive than a regular wifi ipad two 16g. So can i purchase the less expensive a single without the contract?

You can buy the ipad and not have a contract but you can not use 3g with out some kind of contract. You buy the ipad separately and the contract is offered by a mobile phone shop if you do not need to have 3g even though you don't have to get the contract. The ipad takes a micro sim (the identical as the iphone4&4s) but functions without having one on wifi.
